It's one of those weekends where one half is dry, the other not so dry. Today will be the drier half this time around, so if you can get those outside activities or chores in this afternoon, go for it.

Showers and rain will gradually overspread the region tomorrow afternoon, and will likely continue into Monday. Chilly temps abound; some of you may not make it out of the 40s tomorrow.

Drier and slightly milder weather will prevail by next Tuesday and Wednesday.

High pressure to our north will give us northeast flow for the day on Saturday, expect mostly to partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 60s. Low pressure to our southwest will shift toward North Carolina throughout the day increasing our cloud coverage in the overnight hours. This will also bring the threat of rain for late Sunday afternoon which will continue into the overnight hours and Monday morning.

Saturday: Increasing clouds and mild. Highs in the low to mid 60s.

Sunday: Cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

We saw a nice weather day on Friday with high pressure giving us sun and slightly above average temperatures. High pressure will slip to our north on Saturday and our clouds will increase during the day. Low pressure will move toward North Carolina by Sunday. This will increase our chances of showers by Sunday. That chance of showers will continue into Sunday night and early Monday.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cool. Lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s.

Saturday: Increasing clouds and mild. Highs in the low to mid 60s.

Sunday: Cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the low to mid 50s.
