Heather Waliga is the evening weekday anchor for News 14 Carolina. She joined the station in March 2008 and started out as weekend anchor and reporter.

Before making the move to the Queen City, Heather worked as weekend anchor and reporter at WJHG-TV in Panama City, Florida. Heather began her television career while in college as an intern at WBIR-TV in Knoxville. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Political Science. Heather is a Vol fan at heart!

Heather is excited to call the Tar Heel State her new home! If you see her out, say hello!
