WINSTON-SALEM -- The city will soon have another homeowner, thanks to dozens of volunteers and Habitat for Humanity.

The event was sponsored by Twin City native and New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul's charitable organization called the CP3 Foundation.

“I think it’s wonderful to be able to come in and bless somebody and help them move into their own home,” said volunteer Michelle Lewis. “Being a homeowner, it's a wonderful opportunity.”

The CP3 Foundation will also hold a fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County. The Chris Paul weekend will be held Sept. 14-16.
