Vice President Dick Cheney spoke in Charlotte in January.

The White House says Cheney is flying into Raleigh on Monday afternoon and will speak at a reception for North Carolina Victory 2008 at a private residence.

Officials say his visit will help raise money for voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts. It's the eighth such event Cheney has done around the country since the election cycle began.
