DURHAM – Durham's annual holiday parade marched through downtown Saturday. The fun all started at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and American Tobacco Historic District.

Parks and Recreation officials say this year's theme was musical notes and holiday floats. Blues legends Cool John Ferguson and John Dee Holeman were this year's grand marshals. They performed Friday evening along with the Durham Children's Choir.

Kids got to visit Santa Claus all day after the annual tree lighting.
