CHARLOTTE – Jeremy Mayfield’s stepmother was arrested this weekend and charged with trespassing at the NASCAR driver’s home.

Mayfield told Catawba police that his stepmother was drunk and banging on his door while threatening to kill him.

Mayfield was recently suspended from NASCAR for failing a drug test, and his stepmother told authorities she witnessed him using methamphetamine.
