FAYETTEVILLE – Four American security contractors from Fayetteville-based Corporate Training Unlimited have been detained in Iraq in connection with the death of another contractor.

A fifth man was also arrested, but the Iraqi government now says that man is an Iraqi citizen.

They're being held in the death of 60-year-old James Kitterman, a Texas native who owned a construction company that operated in Iraq. Last month, officials found Kitterman stabbed to death in a vehicle in Baghdad's Green Zone.

The American detainees include CTU founder Donald Feeney, his son Donald Feeney III, Micah Milligan and Mark Bridges.

Sarah Smith, a spokesperson for the Feeney family, said the men appeared before an Iraqi judge Sunday morning. No charges have been filed.

She said the family expects the men to be released in the next few days. The FBI is investigating.
