Reality television turning to hair styling

Brown says they’ve already gotten a number of networks interested in the pilot.
GREENSBORO -- If you style hair, you may have what it takes to be on an upcoming reality television program.

A crew was in Greensboro on Saturday, holding auditions for a pilot they are preparing to shoot in Atlanta. Tabitha Brown and her co-host Courtney K say that while they’re setting up auditions in other cities – including Chicago, New York and Los Angeles – the North Carolina natives wanted to find some home-grown talent, too.

“Cause so many people with me growing up here thought nothing like this could happen to me, and they see me and they're like ‘oh my god you did it’ and I'm like ‘you can do it to’ and it doesn't matter if you're an actor or a host, you can be a hair stylist and your dreams can still come true,” said Brown.

Brown says they’ve already gotten a number of networks interested in the pilot. She says once they have a couple weeks of shooting done, they’ll be back to announce which network is going to carry the show.
