Teacher's assistant charged in school incident

ZEBULON, N.C. – A Zebulon Middle School teacher’s assistant turned himself in Tuesday on charges of taking indecent liberties with a 14-year-old student.
Police say 21-year-old Travis Montague of Wendell is charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a student and a child. The charges stem from two separate incidents between the suspect and the female student while on campus.
The incidents occurred between March 23-30.
No bond has been set yet.
