RALEIGH – After hearing from members of the campus community, the N.C. State University chancellor search committee will speak with school deans and administrators on Thursday as they attempt to find a replacement for James Oblinger.
Oblinger resigned in June after the university released e-mails that showed he and former-Gov. Mike Easley played a role in the hiring of Easley’s wife, Mary Easley.
Now, members of the search committee are trying to find the right person for the university while trying to put the Easley controversy behind them.
The group will discuss feedback from all Wednesday’s open forums later Thursday.
