Bystander killed in wreck stemming from pursuit

A bystander was killed during a pursuit involving a State Highway Patrol Trooper and a suspect Saturday night in Charlotte. Highway Patrol officials say LaTia Winchester was killed when Eddie Ellison struck her vehicle as he tried to flee from authorities.

Thousands of families line up for groceries from nonprofits
