Community fights for Jenna Nielsen
Police are looking for this man.
RALEIGH -- As the family of slain mother Jenna Nielsen continues to work toward finding any information they can about their loved one’s killer, roughly 100 people came together Saturday to help in the process.
The volunteers helped Nielsen’s family and friends pass out fliers; fliers that contained information about her murder and how to help.
“When we heard they were passing out fliers today, we thought it would be a great thing to come out and help spread the word,” said volunteer Missy Delgado-Fuguay.
Some, like David Handy, know the Nielsen family.

"As a father of four children, that means a lot to me,” said Handy. “It’s hard to imaging what [Nielsen’s husband, Tim] must be going through right now, trying to raise his children on his own.”
But many, like Mary Glowacki, just heard about their story and wanted to help.
“I know what it’s like to be 8-months pregnant,” said Glowacki. “You’re defenseless, absolutely defenseless. This guy is a danger, he’s a danger to everybody. He needs to be off the street.”
Nielson’s family said they will not give up until the killer is found. Until then, they will continue to put out fliers.
