FAYETTEVILLE -- People in Fayetteville are ready to start reducing, reusing and recycling as Monday marks the start of a new curbside recycling program for the city.
Waste Management of the Carolinas will collect the materials and take them to a recovery facility in Raleigh. City officials say they hope the new program will attract a processing plant to Fayetteville.
Homeowners will pay an additional $42 a year in taxes for the service.
