GREENSBORO – With the North Carolina budget now signed by Gov. Perdue, organizations will get to work this week finalizing their own budgets.
Greensboro Partnership members say now that the budget is official, they know what it will mean for one of their core elements.
The UNC Greensboro and N.C. A&T joint school of nanoscience will receive $1 million for the project. That would bring the recurring funding for the school to nearly $4 million annually.
It is expected to open in 2011 with a groundbreaking still planned for this summer.
