CHARLOTTE – Brett Carter, president of Duke Energy Carolinas, visited the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology on Monday to talk to students about careers in technology and engineering.
He also spoke about his personal story of success and is glad to see the students were eager to learn more.
“These are the students of the future,” Carter said. “The decisions we’re making will soon be carried on by them and so I’m excited about how excited they are.”
Duke Energy also awarded four outstanding or most improved students at the school with laptop computers.
