CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 2600 block of Little Rock Road.

Investigators say two armed men wearing masks held up the store around 7:45 p.m. Saturday and shot the manager in the stomach before fleeing the scene in a black, two-door Honda.

There’s no word yet on the manager’s condition.

Police say they’re having a difficult time questioning witnesses because of the language barrier.
