DURHAM -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating a deadly construction accident that happened around noon Wednesday on Glover Road in Durham.

According to reports, workers were excavating a septic tank from a home when 37-year-old Charles Franklin Williams, of Broadway, attempted to put a chain under it so it could be removed by a crane. The tank then shifted and pinned Williams against the trench wall.
