CHARLOTTE -- An east Charlotte middle school was vandalized over the weekend and police are searching for the people responsible.
According to reports, the suspect or suspects broke into Albemarle Road Middle School, took a fire extinguisher and damaged the hallway and several classrooms. They also broke some windows and threw trash all over the school.
Officers do not have any suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
