Filmmakers, after a crazy 48-hours of fun, got to see everyone's finished product.
GREENSBORO -- For more than 40 teams of film makers, Saturday proved to be the moment of truth as everyone involved sat down to screen works of the 48-hour film project.
The short films ranged in genre from drama to musical westerns, after teams drew their challenge at random last Friday and rushed to work on turning in a finished product exactly 48 hours later.
Organizers spent the week getting the films ready for the screening.
Participants had many genres to work with.
“Every year the film makers in this area are getting better and better,” said Suzan Magge, who participated in the project. “The acting is better, the stories are better, they’re more finished, polished, the equipment they’re using is more high tech. It’s truly an accomplishment that we can all be very proud of.”
While the project draws people from all over the state, a city winner will be chosen and may then be selected for the international grand prize.
