The bull hid in these woods.
APEX, N.C. -- Apex Police spent Friday afternoon searching for a very large animal before a vet found him.
A 2,500 pound rodeo bull charged out of the Apex Veterinarian Hospital on East Williams Street around 2:30 p.m. Police searched for him in 200 wooded acres behind the hospital.
Police called off the search efforts that evening, because they thought the bull got tired or running and went to sleep for the night. A vet found him later and took him back to the animal hospital.
