Rep. Wright turns himself in

RALEIGH -- State Representative Thomas Wright turned himself into Wake County authorities on Friday.
On Monday, a Wake County grand jury indicted the Wilmington representative with five counts of obtaining property by false pretense and one count of obstruction of justice. He was released on $50,000 bond.
Wright, 52, is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on December 31st. He faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted.
