PROCEDURE:
Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees and use a large mixing bowl, or an electric mixer, to cream one stick of room temperature and one cup of light brown sugar.
When that's nice and smooth, add two ripe bananas and mash those into the mix. Next, add 2 large eggs and 1/3 cup milk and mix that in.
For the dry ingredients, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp baking soda and fold that in.
When that's well combined, fold in 1/2 cup each of chopped walnuts and milk chocolate chips.
Add the batter to a buttered and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Place that on the center rack of the pre-heated oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Use a toothpick test to check it for doneness. Spin it around once or twice while it's in the oven and give it a few minutes to cool down and slice it and serve it with strawberries over the top and whipped cream if you like.
HINTS:
Serve while the banana bread is still warm for best results.
