GREENSBORO -- The Can-Am Spyder, which its developers call a new approach to the open road experience, could be seen cruising around the Triad this weekend.
Different from a motorcycle, it has a y-axis design, meaning there are two wheels up front and one in the back. The roadster gets between 30 and 40 miles to the gallon, which is attracting a different kind of road warrior.
"We've seen a lot of folks buy this vehicle as a commuter vehicle. It has a trunk in the front, it does get the incredible gas mileage, it's stable and it allows you to get from point A to point B having a good time," said Ryan Cole, of Spyder.
This is the first time the company has brought its national tour to North Carolina. The Spyder's next stop is Austin, Texas.
