Rummage Sale
Get ready to shop ‘til you drop! It's time for the Junior League of Winston-Salem's annual Rummage Sale! Here you can find 62,000 square feet of clothing, shoes, books, housewares, antiques and much more! The Rummage Sale is at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum Annex and Education building. On Friday, you can shop from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the half-price sale and then the big bag sale runs Saturday from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Bowman Gray Racing
Another season of NASCAR racing returns to Bowman Gray Stadium this weekend. You don't want to miss the Tuscon 200 on Saturday night. Gates open at 6 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Tickets for adults 12 and older are $10, children 6 to 11 get in for $1, and kids under 6 can watch the race for free.
Taste Carolina Wine Festival
For the wine enthusiasts out there, sample the finest of North Carolina's award-winning wines and enjoy local artwork at this year's “Taste Carolina Wine Festival.” The festival is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market. Tickets are $20.
RiverRun International Film Festival
The RiverRun International Film Festival runs through this weekend. There you can see 95 films from 26 different countries that you would never have a chance to see anywhere else. Films are being shown at various locations throughout Winston-Salem. For more information, visit riverrunfilm.com.
