CHARLOTTE -- The Charlotte 49ers have moved to the head of the class in the Atlantic 10 after their 70-66 victory over St. Joseph's Wednesday night.

The Niners got a career high 36

points from Leemire Goldwire, and were able to overcome a late run from the Hawks to pick up their 11th win of the season, remaining perfect in conference play.

Next up for Bobby Lutz and his Niners is a pair of road games, starting Saturday against UMass.
