Raleigh -- After months of work and anticipation, The Woman's Club of Raleigh will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9 for the WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse, two elegantly decorated urban townhomes in Ramblewood at North Hills in Raleigh. Media representatives are invited to attend.
Located at 3611 and 3615 Rolston Drive, the WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse features the design talents of more than 20 members of the American Society of Interior Designers - Carolinas Chapter.
Representatives of The Woman's Club of Raleigh, ASID-Carolinas Chapter, Kane Residential and Hospice of Wake County will be on hand for the brief ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony, media representatives can take a sneak peak tour of the Showhouse townhomes. Invited guests and sponsors will get the next view of the Showhouse at a private preview event later Friday evening.
The WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse will open to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 and remain open through Sunday, June 1. Hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Thursdays. On Sundays, the Showhouse will be open from Noon until 4 p.m. Tour tickets are $20 when purchased at the site. Advance tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Kane Residential/Guest Services at North Hills and at select Harris Teeter stores.
Proceeds from the WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse will benefit Hospice of Wake County and other community projects of The Woman's Club of Raleigh.
