RALEIGH -- Sen. Barack Obama will be back in North Carolina on Thursday. The Democratic presidential hopeful will be making stops in Raleigh and Greenville.

Obama will hold the first of his two speeches at the Kerr Scott Building on the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

Late last month, Obama campaigned in Greensboro, Fayetteville and Charlotte. His wife, Michelle Obama, was in the Tar Heel State as well earlier this month on his behalf.

The campaigning is sure to get more intense as North Carolina's May 6 primary approaches. The Obama campaign said Thursday's event in Raleigh will be a town hall meeting focusing on the economy.

On Wednesday, people lined up for free tickets to the meeting. More than 2,000 are expected to attend. There is also a business expo going on at the fairgrounds Thursday, and 5,000 people are expected to attend that that.

With such big crowds, traffic patterns in the area will be shifted and some gates to the fairgrounds will be closed

If you are planning on coming out to either event, here is some information for you:

Town hall meeting attendees should park in the Trinity Road parking lot at the corner of Trinity and Blue Ridge roads and enter the fairgrounds through gate 10.

For the business expo, go in through gate 2 on Hillsborough Street of gates 4 or 5 on Youth Center Road.

Chief Democratic rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, will be in the Tar Heel State soon. Clinton is expected to campaign at Wake Forest University on Friday.
