Tree tears through house during storm

RALEIGH -- Storms passed through the Capital City on Friday, leaving behind some damage.


A tree fell into a home on Winnona Court in Raleigh, tearing through the side. No one was hurt.


Progress Energy also said storms knocked out power for over 6,000 customers in Wake County. Power has now been restored.
