Police search the home in Johnston County where a man is suspected of shooting his wife.
JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. – The Johnston County man accused of shooting his wife Friday night has been arrested in Florida.
Police said Julian Blankenship, 44, shot his wife in the mouth and leg at their family home on Galilee Road near Smithfield, N.C.
Although authorities have not released the woman’s name, her condition is improving at WakeMed Hospital.
There is no word on when Blankenship will be brought back to North Carolina.
