Coastal Reporter Ashley White
Ashley, a native of North Canton, Ohio, fell in love with broadcasting in high school while being a part of Hoover High Schools video productions program.
After graduating from Kent State University in December 2007 with a degree in broadcast journalism, Ashley worked for TV-2, Kent State's award-winning student run TV station, where she was an anchor/reporter/producer.
Before coming to Wilmington, Ashley worked as a special projects producer in Dayton, Ohio, at Dayton's News Source. She loves reporting because you talk to new people every day and you have the opportunity to tell their stories.
Ashley played soccer, softball and basketball in high school and is a big Ohio football fan. She is crazy about the Browns and Buckeyes.
Ashley enjoys exercising, playing sports, hanging out on the beach and spending time with family and friends. She is so excited to call North Carolina her new home.
